Building a

Heroic Backstory

 

This section is designed to help you flesh out the personality of your Hero. It can be used in any setting. This helps with roleplaying.

 

• What was the Hero's greatest success and greatest failure?

• What are their Spiritual or religious beliefs? Feel free to create your own religion based on setting.

• How does the Hero see themself?Are they a humble candle maker who took up the sword? Are you a noble person who became a con artist?

• What are your beliefs regarding good and evil? Which do you consider yourself to be? Why?

• What was your family like? Large or small. How did family members make a living?

• Describe your appearance.

• What is your favorite weapon?

• How do people respond to your Hero? Do they see them as reckless? Slow to respond to threats?

• Who are your enemies? Why? Describe them.

• What motivates your Hero?

• Who influenced the Hero?

• How do you respond to a threat? Do you immediately go on the offensive? Defensive?

• What is your Hero afraid of?

• Your Hero has access to all skills. Is there skill(s) that he lacks? Maybe he is good with guns  but just hates and won't use shotguns.

• Describe your Hero's best moment for what he became known for

• Does your Hero have a signature or specific look?
